World breastfeeding week was celebrated at SNCU premises of the Department of Paediatrics, GMCH Sundargarh on 3rd Aug 2023. CDM & PHO, Sundargarh Dr. Saroj Kumar Mishra graced the occasion. The celebration started with lightning of lamps by the dignitaries.  the introductory speech was given by the head nursing officer of SNCU followed by faculties of the department and consultants. SNCU nursing officers performed a roleplay on positioning, attachment, and benefits of breastfeeding. Around 30 mothers and 20 nursing officers attended the celebration. Finally concluded with a vote of thanks.
